《天主教研究學報》第十三期的主題是「人類兄弟情誼與社會友誼：宗教交談」，與2021年12月9日的學術研討會同名。該次研討會是本中心與同屬香港中文大學文化及宗教研究系的伊斯蘭文化研究中心合辦，以回應教宗方濟各2019年與伊斯蘭教大伊瑪目泰耶伯共同發表《人類兄弟情誼文件》的呼籲，邀請不同宗教人士對話。本中心期望這種學術活動能成為宗教交談對話的平台，增加宗教間的認識，並在信徒間建立情誼。而為讓更多不同宗教信仰人士及無信仰者透過文本也有機會參與於交談之中，《天主教研究學報》共收納了會議上發表的九篇論文，由來自不同宗教的學者代表，從各自的宗教信念和倫理原則闡釋社會友誼，如何與社會受苦一群連繫，以及探討宗教價值與教育。
