The Centre for Catholic Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong has released 《雪泥鴻爪:聖高隆龐傳教女修會在香港之歷史》(Tracing the Steps of the Missionary Sisters of St. Columban in Hong Kong), commemorating the centenary of the Sisters' founding in 1924.
The book highlights their remarkable service in Hong Kong from 1948 to 2015—from caring for tuberculosis patients at Ruttonjee Sanatorium to educating young people, supporting women overcoming addiction, and promoting life‑and‑death education.
It features a Chinese translation of Sr. M. Gabriel O’Mahony’s A Time of Transition and heartfelt testimonies from patients, colleagues, students, and collaborators. These reflections have also been translated into English for the Sisters’ global community.
Our thanks to Sr. Mary Greaney, all contributors, translator Ms. Eva Liu, and proofreader Fr. Roderick O’Brien, SJ.
May this book honour the Sisters’ courageous compassion and inspire future generations.
